quickemu is quite neat 🍎

I sometimes need a VM to test some programs at work on macOS, and quickemu does that very well.

Quick, I need macOS Monterey!

$ quickget macos monterey
$ quickemu --vm macos-monterey.conf

And there you go, you can install and run this locally now! I’ve previously tried a few other projects that try to simplify the setup as well, but this seems quite the nice project.

Note that I did need to use a workaround to get the disk to be recognized correctly, but the comments say that you might not need that.

And finally this also works for windows and linux vms, not just macOS.
